This week Sean wanted to make sure the girls trust him, and to focus on the individual relationships with each girl.

Date #1 (Alone Date) Selma – Let’s turn up the heat

Selma was so excited for her date that she told the camera that she wants to take things to the next level, and the next level, and then have babies!  - Seriously?

Sean picked Selma up in a limo and kept her guessing by taking her on a private plane to the date location.   Selma was speculating about the date and how romantic it would be…until he dropped her off in the middle of the desert, to then take her on a ride in a jeep (my dream vehicle) to Joshua Tree National Park.  She complained to the camera that she doesn’t do well in heat, and that she felt puffy.  Sean filled her in on the date – rock climbing.  Of course…another Bachelorette that hates heights.  I’m starting to think it is a prerequisite for being on the Bachelor!  She complained halfway up the rock and then got some energy and impressed Sean with her climbing skills. 

The date ended with a romantic dinner in the middle of the dessert in a staged trailer park.  They started to talk about families and Selma brought up her Arabic heritage and how strict things are.  She told the camera that she was going to have to tell Sean that she cannot kiss him on camera due to her families beliefs.  Meanwhile, Sean was telling the camera that he couldn’t wait to kiss her!  He looked romantically into her eyes and told her that he wanted to kiss her.  Her response to him was “I can’t kiss you!”  She then explained to him why…  It must not have mattered because he gave her Rose #1.

Date #2 (Group Date) Lindsay, Robyn, Jackie, Catherine, Amanda, Ashlee, Sarah, Tierra – I’m looking for a woman who can roll with the punches

The ladies started the day off with mimosas in the limo on the way to meet Sean.  When they met up with him he broke the news to them that they would be playing Roller Derby!!!  Amanda lied to Sean and told him that she had played before to freak out the other team.  There were quite a few girls who couldn’t even skate, and poor Sarah who struggled with balance. L  Sean comforted her and told her that she didn’t have to go through with the game if she didn’t want to.  She decided to give it a try.  Amanda was a little too cocky and fell on her face!  Amanda ended up going to the hospital, and freaking out the other girls.  Sean decided that a bout was not needed and that they should skate freestyle.  The girls were thrilled!

The date ended with a night out at the Roosevelt.  Sean stole Sarah away for a chat.  Amanda came back from her trip to the hospital.  Sean pulled her aside to make sure she was ok.  She told the camera that she was planning to play the sympathy card.  While Sean was away with Amanda, Tierra and Robyn started to get into a fight.  Tierra asked the production crew if she could leave.  Meanwhile Ashlee and Sean were having one on one time and she asked him to go in the hot tub.  As they were walking to the hot tub, Tierra stole Sean away to tell him that she “can’t do it anymore.”  Sean told her that he had been worried about her from the beginning.  He looked at her with his sweet blue eyes and convinced her to stay.  Tierra won the sympathy Rose #2!!!  Amanda didn’t work hard enough to get the rose.  That move pissed the girls off!

Date #3 (Alone Date) Leslie H. – Could this be forever?

With the date card came a pair of diamond earings.  Sean pulled up to the mansion in a convertible to pick her up for their date.  First stop, shopping on Rodeo Drive!  She told him “you made my favorite movie come true”.  He helped her pick her dress, shoes, and clutch.  They both got all dressed up in their eveningwear.  Sean told her he had one more thing for her date.  He walked her over to Neal Lane to pick up a necklace to wear for the evening. 

After getting dressed up he took her to the Bradbury for a romantic dinner.  They had conversations about past relationships, future relationships, and family.  Sean told the camera that he wasn’t feeling the romantic connection with Leslie.  He decided to send her home.  After walking her to the car, he had to take her necklace off and send her home.  I guess it wasn’t Pretty Woman after all!

Cocktail Party:

Sean told Ashlee that she is “always on his mind”.  Robyn tried to stand out from the other girls by using a pick up line on him – “which chocolate do you want to kiss?”  The girls were talking smack about Tierra.  Tierra and Amanda became friends… which is odd because Tierra stole Amanda’s sympathy rose.  Tierra pulled Jackie and Robyn aside to confront them/apologize to them.  Robyn went back to the other girls to talk smack again.  Sean pulled Tierra aside to tell him that he missed her.  She told him that she has been having a hard time since they last spoke.  Sean told her to be confident.  Catherine gave Sean a small card with her lipstick print.  Sean told her that he hopes she isn’t putting him in the friend category.

He finally sent Amanda home!

Next week there are two nights of Bachelor (Mon/Tues.)!!!  More drama, and more hospital visits!

The board didn’t get hit too hard this week.  I’m feeling good as I kept my remaining two ladies!

I didn't think I was going to cry this early

16 girls remaining, 3 dates – a group date, and two one on one dates.

Date #1 (Alone Date) Lesley M. - How long will this love last?

Sean begins the date by asking Lesley what she thinks the date card means.  She didn’t know.  He took her to the Guinness World Record museum for a “normal date”.  As they are walking through the museum he showed her that his dad had broken a Guinness World Record.  He then challenged her to break a World Record with him – the longest on-screen kiss in front of a large crowd of people.  3 minutes and 16 seconds would beat the current record…did they do it?  With two minutes remaining, it looked like they might not make it as Lesley was clearly trying not to laugh.  They broke the record for the longest on-screen awkward kiss. 

The date ended on the rooftop of the Roosevelt Hotel – a totally normal date.  Lesley told Sean that her parents have a perfect love and it is what she is searching for.  Sean told her that he feels like he has known her forever and that they might be able to have what her parents have.  She is completely smitten!  Sean questions her once again – asking if she could develop real feelings for him.  She answered correctly and received Rose #1.  The date ended with the two of them kissing and confetti coming down – they must have set another record.  Thankfully we didn’t have to watch!

Date #2 (Group Date) Kacie B., Robyn, Leslie H., Kristy, Catherine, Desiree, Taryn, Amanda, Lindsay, Danielle, Jackie, and Tierra – Who’s going to win my heart?

Sean took the girls to the beach to play some games.  They harassed him to take his shirt off – it didn’t take too much convincing.  As they were playing games Chris Harrison interrupted the date.  He challenged the ladies to a game of beach volleyball.  The winning team would win the remainder of the date with Sean, and the losing team would be sent home.  Let the competition begin!  Beach volleyball didn’t seem to be anyone’s sport!  The winning team consisted of – Kacie B., Robyn, Keriann, Amanda, Desiree, and Lindsay.  In typical Bachelor fashion the losing team went back to the mansion crying!

The winning team went to Sean’s house to spend the remainder of the evening.  Sean pulled Lindsay aside to get to know her.  She spent her time boosting his ego by telling him how perfect he is.  He fell for it!  Next up, Desiree – he told her how good she looked in her bikini and how he likes her confidence.  Amanda told the ladies she would do whatever it takes to get Rose #2.  Kacie B. didn’t learn from her season with Ben and decided to gossip about the other girls during her alone time with Sean.  Thankfully Sean is smart and called her out on it – “Why are you saying something to me?”  He was not impressed!  She didn’t catch a clue, and continued to gossip.  He then asked her to act like Kacie and not like a crazy person! Rose #2 went to Lindsay.  Nice try Kacie B!  She was crying to the camera and then realized that she looked like a crazy person and said “I’m not supposed to cry this early!” and walked off.

Date #3 (Alone Date) Ashlee – Ashlee, do you believe in magic?

As Ashlee was getting ready she said “Nothing can or will go wrong today!”  Right after she finished her sentence Tierra fell down the stairs.  Sean happened to walk into the house right after it happened and started to comfort Tierra.  He diagnosed her with a concussion and advised sending her to the hospital.  The EMT came in to take her away on a stretcher.  She told them that she was “fine” and wanted off of the stretcher.  She didn’t listen to the EMT’s advice to go to the hospital and as a result got some one on one time with Sean. – Smart move girl!  Meanwhile, Ashlee was left in kitchen waiting for her date to begin. 

Sean finally decided to start the date with Ashlee and took her for a ride in a jeep.  He took her to Magic Mountain!!!  She didn’t seem to be very impressed.  Sean filled her in telling her that two little girls with serious illnesses (from the Starlight Foundation) were going to join them on the date.  They had a ton of fun hanging out with the girls at the park. 

The date with the girls ended with a private concert.  It was a perfect ending to a perfect date.  After the concert Ashlee did get some alone time with Sean.  Sean asked her what she saw her family looking like.  She told him that she wanted to have her own children and to adopt.  She was able to get in her “story” of being in foster home, the first time she met her adopted dad, and how her family said they were going to tell her every day that they love her.  He was touched by her “story” and handed out Rose #3.  Even though she got the rose she still cried when telling the camera how much she likes Sean. 

Cocktail Party:

Sean pulled Sarah aside and took her out front where a limo was pulling up to the mansion.  She thought he was sending her home!  Instead he brought her dog Leo to the house. – What a great guy!  Next up – Tierra.  She began the conversation by telling him that her back hurt.  He tried explaining to her that she would get time with him later if she sticks around.  Desiree promptly interrupted and stole Sean away for a kiss.  Tierra stole him back!  The other girls were jealous that she got to talk to him two times.  The second steal kicked off the stealing.  All of the girls were stealing him away!  Kacie B. stole him away to apologize.  He admitted to her that they took a couple steps backwards due to her gossiping…  Right after he finished his sentence, they were interrupted!  Then Chris Harrison arrived to end the Cocktail Party.

Rose Ceremony:

Before handing out the roses, Sean asked to talk to Kacie B.  He respectfully sent her home in a mini van.  He walked back into the Rose Ceremony and told the other girls that he sent her home because he didn’t have romantic feelings for her.

My mom is going to love next week’s show as the girls try out Roller Derby!

The board got hit lightly this week.  I’m not doing very well this season!!!  I lost another girl!! L
