It's ok!

Date #1 – Clare

They met up and took a ride in a fishing boat.  Clare told the camera that if Juan Pablo asks her to stay in the fantasy suite she doesn’t know what she will say based off of her experience with the romp in the ocean. 

The small little fishing boat took them to a yacht!  They started off talking about her hometown date, and then went swimming in the ocean.  I assume they kept it ‘G’ rated this time.

After a day on the yacht they shared a romantic dinner.  Juan Pablo told the camera that the fantasy suite will be an opportunity for them to get to know each other better…a lot better!  - I wonder what that means?  During dinner Clare talked to Juan Pablo about Camilla and how she would see herself fitting into her life.  After the serious conversation Juan Pablo presented Clare with fantasy suite card.  Clare hesitated and then brought up Vietnam and how Juan Pablo feels about his daughter seeing things on the show.  He defended the purpose of the fantasy suite and Clare gave in. 

Juan Pablo gave Clare a tour of the fantasy suite and then toasted to her choice to spend the night with him.  He actually said tomorrow when we wake up we will know a lot more about each other!  With that Clare said “I am just loving falling in love with you.”  They talked in between kisses about trusting each other.  As expected they moved into the hot tub for a make-out session.

The next morning while Juan Pablo was waiting to meet up with Andi he told the camera how happy he was that Clare decided to stay the night with him.

Date #2 – Andi

The date started off in downtown with the two of them getting to know the local culture, people and food.  Juan Pablo found out that a few of the local boys like to play soccer so they started up a game.  Next up was a ride in a land buggy.  Juan Pablo took the buggy off-road to a waterfall in the middle of a jungle.  They had a picnic lunch overlooking the waterfall.  The conversation turned to their hometown date.  Juan Pablo told Andi about her father’s response to him asking to marry her.  After talking they played in the waterfall.

After their day together they had a romantic dinner at what looked like the same location where he had dinner with Clare.  Over dinner Juan Pablo asked Andi how she feels about him.  She told him that she would not force herself to fall in love with him even though she wants to fall in love badly.  Andi asked him if he thinks she would fit into his life and he said that he thinks about it every day.  She continued to tell him that she wonders what he thinks about her.  He didn’t give her the type of response she was looking for.  He had enough conversation and pulled out the fantasy suite card.  Andi said if he is serious about their relationship then she would accept the offer.  Of course he was going to say he is serious about their relationship!  She accepted and they went to the fantasy suite.  – I swear it was the same suite that Clare was at the night before.  They toasted to each other and Juan Pablo told the camera that he thinks Andi could be the one. 

The next day Juan Pablo reflected on the night that he had with Andi.  He told the camera that they get along very well and talked for hours.  He again said that she could be the one.

The next day Andi told the camera that she could not wait to get out of the fantasy suite the next morning.  Her version of the night was that it was a disaster and that she saw a side of Juan Pablo that she didn’t know existed.  She felt like he didn’t care about her and wanted to talk more about himself.  Andi was offended that he told her about the overnight date that he had with Clare the night before.  Andi told the camera that she was disappointed that it took this long to figure it out.

Date #3 – Nikki

The date started off with horseback riding to a beach for a picnic.  They talked about her hometown date.  Juan Pablo told Nikki that he told her father that he wasn’t 100% sure that he would propose to her in the end because there were 3 other girls.  Nikki seemed surprised to hear about that conversation.  Nikki told the camera that she wants to tell him that she loves him, but is scared.

After the day date, they had a romantic dinner on the beach.  – I’m so thankful they changed locations!  Nikki started in with a serious conversation.  Juan Pablo ended the conversation quickly and presented her with the fantasy suite card.  She gladly accepted.  Juan Pablo told the camera that she could be a good partner for him for life because she is honest, sexy, and cares about people.  Nikki told the camera that she needs to tell him how she feels tonight so she doesn’t have any regrets. 

Shortly after arriving in the fantasy suite Nikki told Juan Pablo that he loves him.  He told her that he doesn’t know what to say.  Instead of saying anything he decided to kiss her. 

Conversation with Chris Harrison

Juan Pablo told Chris that he feels good about the women that are remaining and that one of them could be a good prospect in his life.  He said that he has had three great overnight dates and he doesn’t know who he will be sending home.  Chris told him that the girls had left him video messages to help him make the decision.  Before watching the video’s he told the camera that he could see himself with all three of the girls!  While watching Clare’s video he got tears in his eyes.  During Andi’s video message she eluded to the fact that she isn’t sure about him and said that she wants to talk to him in person.

Conversation with Andi

Andi started off by telling Juan Pablo that she came onto the show to fall in love and she realized that she wasn’t in love with him after the fantasy suite night.  He said that it is ok and that if it is not meant to be then it is not meant to be.  Andi then argued back saying that it is not ok!  He tried to tell her that if she doesn’t feel it then he can’t force her to feel for him.  He defended his response, but it wasn’t good enough for her so she continued to argue.  The conversation continued and it seemed like they continued to repeat themselves.  I’m not sure what Andi wanted him to say.  Whatever it was he wasn’t saying it and so she continued to debate with him.  The conversation just got out of control with Andi trying to tell Juan Pablo not to say “it’s ok” anymore.  I don’t understand why she continued the conversation and didn’t leave if she was so annoyed.  Finally they hugged and he walked her out.  Juan Pablo told the camera that the way that she broke the news to him was a total turnoff for him and made him realize that she wasn’t the one for him either!

Rose Ceremony

Chris broke the news to the girls that Andi left and asked Juan Pablo to explain.  He explained the situation to the girls and told them that he wants them to do the same if they do not feel there is a connection.

Juan Pablo Meets the Parents

Hometown Date #1 Nikki – Kansas City

They met up at a park and both said they were so excited they couldn’t sleep the night before.  The date started with Nikki testing out Juan Pablo’s ability to be a country boy.  She took Juan Pablo to the most famous BBQ place in Kansas City.  He fell in love with the BBQ ribs.  Next stop, Nikki took him to a bar to ride a bull.  He did a pretty good job riding the bull – Must be those abs!  Nikki almost told him that she loves him, but just couldn’t do it at the bull riding bar. 

Third stop was to meet the parents over dinner.  The night started off with dinner, and Nikki’s mom pulled her aside to talk to her.  Nikki told her that she is in love with him but hasn’t told him yet because she hasn’t had the right moment.  She told her mom that she can see herself engaged to Juan Pablo.  Mom approved!

Juan Pablo sat down with Nikki’s father to talk.  Her dad said that he trusts his daughter and will accept whatever decision she makes.  Dad approved and appreciated Juan Pablo being honest with him.

Nikki and dad sat down for a talk.  Nikki told her dad that there is something about Juan Pablo that is awesome and magical.  She told him that she could take on the role of step-mom.  Her dad told her that he approves.

As Nikki was saying goodbye to Juan Pablo she tried to tell him that she loves him, but couldn’t get the words out.  Nikki told the camera that it didn’t feel right to tell him that she loves him and she doesn’t know why it didn’t feel right.

Hometown Date #2 Andi – Atlanta

The two of them met in a park and embraced each other immediately.  Before meeting the family, Andi took him to a shooting range.  He was so excited!  Andi started and shot her 9mm right in the bulls-eye.  Juan Pablo was impressed.  Andi told him that he needed to get a bulls-eye in order to meet her family.  Juan Pablo shot at least 15 times before hitting the bulls-eye. 

Andi took Juan Pablo home to meet the family.  Andi told the camera that she is at a point where she is waiting to fall in love and that meeting her family could be the tipping point.  They started off talking to the family about all of their dates.  Her dad was not impressed with their story and how long it took for her to get a one on one date.  Over dinner, dad didn’t seem impressed at all and actually said that he is worried.  Andi’s sister tried to break the ice and had them tell their story of meeting each other.  Apparently they met and 6 months later got engaged and 6 month after that got married. 

Mom pulled Juan Pablo aside.  They got on the subject of dancing and mom asked to see them dance.  Andi showed off her lack of dancing skills.  Mom danced a little with Juan Pablo as well.

Dad pulled Juan Pablo aside for a few questions.  “What in the world made him go on the show?”  Her dad did not seem impressed.  Juan Pablo asked him if he would accepted him and his daughter into his family if he were to propose to Andi.  Dad told him that the person who asks his daughter to marry him will tell him that his daughter is the one and only person in the world and not that he "may" ask her to marry him. 

Andi talked to her sister about Juan Pablo and asked if she see’s her ending up with him.  Her sister must have said “I don’t know” at least five times.  Andi was upset hearing that. 

Andi and her dad sat down to talk.  She asked him if he had any concerns.  Dad said that he doesn’t want her to get hurt.  Andi admitted that she doesn’t know what will happen and she could see herself falling in love with him.  She told him that she is willing to get her heart broken to see if Juan Pablo is the right guy.

Andi asked to talk to Juan Pablo for a bit before he left.  The camera flashed back to the family and her dad told the story about Juan Pablo asking for permission to marry Andi.  The whole family agreed with how dad responded to Juan Pablo.  Back to Andi and Juan Pablo.  Andi told the camera that she is very, very close to being in love with him after spending the day with him.

Hometown Date #3 Renee – Sarasota, FL

Renee and Juan Pablo met up at the beach and then went to her son’s little league game to meet with him.  The three of them had a nice moment getting to know each other.  Renee and Juan Pablo watched the little league game. 

After the game they all drove to Renee’s family’s house.  Renee told the camera that her parents have been right about all of the guys she dates.  She said that if her parents see any red flags that it will be over with Juan Pablo. 

While Renee put her son to bed, Juan Pablo talked to her brother.  After talking to the brother he talked to her mom.  They didn’t show the conversation.  What they did show was Renee and her mom talking.  Renee told her mom that Juan Pablo is amazing.  Her mom told her that she wants her to be “in love” with him.  Her mom was happy to hear how she felt about him.  Mom approved. 

Renee talked to her dad and her dad immediately told her that he approves.  He said he saw her glowing as soon as she walked in the door.  The night wrapped up and Renee walked Juan Pablo out to the car.  Renee told the camera that she wanted to tell him that she loves him before he left but it didn’t flow and it didn’t come out.  She said that after he got in the car she wanted to tell him and she regretted not telling him. 

Hometown Date #4 Clare – Sacramento

They met at the rose garden park.  They talked about what to expect with her family.  She talked about her dad and shared with him some of the final things her dad shared with her before passing. 

They met up with her mom and sisters for dinner.  Clare is the youngest of 6 daughters.  They started off talking about their journey and then moved onto dinner.  One of her sisters pulled her aside to talk to her.  Her sister asked, “What would you do if he asked you to marry him?”  Clare said that she would say ‘yes’ in a heartbeat.  Juan Pablo met with a couple sisters.  One sister asked him if he was ready to propose to her.  He told her that is why she is still a contender.  Her sister told the camera that she approves and knows her father would have approved. 

Clare sat down with another one of her sisters and her mom.  Her sister told her that she questions the situation.  Clare defended him and the situation.  Her sister told her not to influence her mom’s opinion.  Clare’s sister wouldn’t let her talk to her mom…she stood to the side and kept interrupting when her mom tried to talk.  Clare never got to hear from her mother how she felt about Juan Pablo. 

Juan Pablo went to talk to Clare’s mom and the annoying sister sat down with them.  Clare tried to pull her sister away and she wouldn’t leave him alone with her mother.  Her sister spoke on behalf of her mother.  Juan Pablo pulled out his charm and got the sister to leave so he could have some alone time with her mother.  Juan Pablo fell in love with her Spanish-speaking mother.

Rose #3 - Andi

Renee was sent home and Juan Pablo cried!  Renee told him that he had opened up her eyes to a whole new world.  Juan Pablo told her that she is great and that he respects her a lot.

Tomorrow night - What happens in the fantasy suite doesn't stay in the fantasy suite!
