The show started with the ladies arriving at the Intercontinental Resort for their
stay in Vietnam.
Date #1 (Alone Date)
Renee – Are we the right fit?
Renee was so excited to get a one on one date! As she was getting ready for her date she
admitted to the camera that she gets butterflies and her palms hurt when she
thinks of Juan Pablo. – Interesting combo! She told the camera that she is ready to
kiss him and that this date is the perfect opportunity for a first kiss.
Renee met Juan Pablo in downtown Vietnam for their date. They started things off with a Pedi cab ride
with Juan Pablo as the driver. He took
her to a shop to get a traditional tailor made dress. While the tailor was taking Renee’s
measurements she was sweating like crazy.
Juan Pablo ran next door to get a fan and returned to fan Renee while
the tailor finished fitting her.
While waiting for the dress they walked through town
shopping. Juan Pablo melted Renee’s
heart when he said they should pick up gifts for their kids. – It
doesn’t take much to melt her heart. After
shopping they took a beer break on a boat.
They wrapped up the evening with a romantic dinner in a
restaurant downtown. Renee met up with
Juan Pablo in her tailored dress. Juan
Pablo thought she looked gorgeous in her new dress. Over dinner they talked about the
relationship Renee has with her son's dad.
They connected over being single parents. Apparently there was a connection as she
received Rose #1. After the rose he took her for a walk to the water to make a wish and then send off a candle in a decorative
box. Renee kept telling the camera that
she wanted to end the date with a kiss. Juan
Pablo told the camera that he respects the fact that she is a mother and wasn’t
ready to kiss her yet. No kisses for Renee!
Date #2 (Group Date)
Sharleen, Chelsie, Cassandra, Clare, Kelly, Alli, Danielle, Andi, Kat – Can
you go with the flow?
Andi was unable to go with the flow as she complained to the
camera that she hasn’t had a one on one date and was wondering what she was
doing on the Bachelor.
The girls met Juan Pablo by the water to go out in circular
bamboo boats. Two girls per boat and one
lucky girl got to be in the boat with Juan Pablo. Clare was the lucky girl – or should we say the more strategic.
They got stuck in some trees and Juan Pablo practically tipped the
boat when he leaned in for a kiss with Clare.
All of the other girls witnessed the kiss and were pissed off!
After riding in bamboo discs they stopped for lunch at a
family’s home for a traditional Vietnamese lunch. Before getting lunch they had to pick their
food out of the family garden. Andi was clearly insecure as she approached Juan Pablo in the garden telling him that
she had been wondering why she is always on group dates. He reassured her that everything was ok. – So,
was that her way of getting the Rose, or an Alone Date next week?
The date ended with a cocktail party and some one on one
time with Juan Pablo. He started off the
one on one time with Clare. That pissed
off all of the other girls! While they
were off, the girls were talking smack about Clare. Little did they know that while they were
talking smack, Juan Pablo brought Clare to his suite for some alone time in his
pool. They had a make-out session in the
pool. I’m not quite sure how it all
worked out with editing, but next thing you know Juan Pablo is sitting in the
beach with Sharleen. Sharleen got sloppy
seconds. Andi got sloppy thirds. The best kisser was obviously Clare because
she got Rose #2.
The girls went back to the hotel and were recapping the
evening. Clare decided to sneak out of
the hotel and head back to Juan Pablo’s suite to convince him to go swimming in
the ocean. He was surprised to see her
and up for her challenge. I'm not sure what happened in the ocean and I'm not sure that I want to know, but they alluded
to having sex in the ocean…
Date #3 (Alone Date)
Nikki – Let’s have a hell of a good time
Juan Pablo brought Nikki up to the top of Marvel Mountain,
and told her they would be repelling down a cave to the bottom. She was slightly freaked out with the
challenge.
Juan Pablo started and Nikki had a little bit of a rough
start, but Juan Pablo was there to console her with a kiss. The kiss gave her the courage that she needed
to get to the bottom of the cave for another round of kisses.
The date ended with a romantic dinner in a cave. Thankfully they didn’t have to repel to get
there. Nikki said that she was tired and
Juan Pablo agreed with her…saying that he didn’t sleep much the night
before. If she only knew why! They
talked about the usual – job, dating someone with a kid, etc. Nikki got Rose#3 and another kiss! Juan Pablo told the camera that he likes
Nikki’s heart a lot and sees a potential wife.
Cocktail Party:
Juan Pablo started the party off by telling the ladies that
he would be sending three of them home. Great way to start a party! Clare broke the silence by making a toast to “Finding love, being in
love and making love.” If the girls only knew!!! Juan Pablo stole Andi away for some alone
time and a few kisses. During Renee’s
alone time Juan Pablo told her that he is continuing to respect her and her son
by not kissing her. Renee argued it and
wasn’t even able to finish her argument before he attacked her. Renee was thrilled! He told the camera that he feels good with kissing
Renee, but realized that he made a mistake with Clare in the ocean and that it
wasn’t fair to the other girls. - So, how does he make it fair to the other
girls? Lol Juan Pablo got some alone
time with Clare and he told her how he was feeling about not being fair to the
other girls. Clare argued saying that it
isn’t about being fair to the other girls.
Then Juan Pablo went in for the kill and brought up the fact that he has
a daughter and doesn’t think that it was right because he doesn’t want her to see what he did on camera.
Clare started crying and Juan Pablo wouldn’t let her cry about it. Clare told the camera that she was blindsided
by the conversation and confused! When
Clare and Juan Pablo joined the other girls after their one on one time Clare
had to walk away and cry some more. Juan Pablo
found her and consoled her. Seriously…why is he making her feel so
guilty? It takes two to tango! When they returned to the cocktail party
all of the other girls were totally confused as to what was happening. - Just wait until they find out what happened!

Girls sent home - Danielle, Kelly, and Alli. This time Juan Pablo was the one crying!
