Charlotte, NC – Emily starts the week off with a visit home
to see Ricki!
Emily talks about how she feels about each of the four guys:
Chris – Sweet,
makes her feel great, open about how he feels about her, and can admit when he
is wrong – She thinks he is so amazing!
Jef – She saw
something special in him from the first night, he gets her and she gets him,
she loves how comfortable she feels with him, she can trust him, he is unique
and special…unlike anyone else.
Arie - Wants
stability, fun and excitement. She
always has so much fun with him. They
were instantly drawn to each other – their first kiss couldn’t have been more
perfect!
Sean – Makes her
feel safe, taken care of and confidant.
She knows who he is in his heart and she is falling in love with that
person. A life with him is the perfect
life she has always said she has wanted.
Home Town Date #1 –
Chicago, IL with Chris
They met downtown and went for a stroll along the
magnificent mile. He took her to a
Polish restaurant for a beer where they discussed how he reacted at the last
rose ceremony. After rehashing last
week, he prepped her for his family – watch out for that older sister!
They traveled to Hanover Park to visit his family. I’m not sure what Emily thought when she
first met his family, but I was thinking that he is a giant! Right away his father asked to speak to
Emily. He explained to her how close
they are as a family. Emily asked him if
he thinks that Chris is ready to be a father – of course he answered
correctly!
After she got a pass from the father the older sister came
in for the kill! She asked Emily if he
isn’t going to be the one if she would end it sooner than later, rather than to
drag it out.
Dad filled Chris in on what Emily said during their
conversation – that she is falling in love with him. Chris was giddy!
The night ended and when Chris was saying goodbye to her he
told her that he loves her and that he has never really said it before, but it
is easy to say.
Home Town Date #2 –
St. George, UT with Jef
Emily met Jef on a dirt road in the middle of nowhere –
Homestead Ranch. They got in a dune
buggy to head down the road to the ranch.
He took her out to the field for some rifle shooting. Emily impressed Jef with her shooting
skills.
After shooting they talked about who Emily would be meeting
since she wouldn’t be meeting Jef’s parents.
Jef introduced Emily to his siblings and their kids. His older bother pulled her aside right away
to find out if Emily would be the right fit for Jef. Emily seemed to win over the older brother.
After big brother got his alone time, the three sisters
pulled her aside to tell her that they can tell that he likes her. The girls grilled her a bit but she passed
the sister test!
Jef had one final surprise for Emily. They left the siblings and he took her to a
romantic spot to read her a love letter that he wrote to her. She told him it was the sweetest thing anyone
has ever said to her!
Home Town Date #3 –
Scottsdale, AZ with Arie
Of course she met him on the racetrack! He gave her a ride in the Indy car. After the racetrack he took her to a park to
sit down for a chat about meeting his European family.
They met up with his family for dinner. Everything seemed to be going well until his
mom started speaking in Dutch. They all
carried on a conversation in Dutch and finally Arie broke into English. Mom pulled Emily aside for some alone
time. She told Emily that she watched
the season with her and Brad and she wanted to know what happened with their
relationship. After Emily explained her
position she seemed to bond with Mom.
Arie told his dad he could propose to Emily. Dad approved!
The end! The cameras
showed them saying goodbye and Arie telling the camera that he is “definitely”
going to marry Emily!
Home Town Date #4 –
Dallas, TX with Sean
Emily met Sean in a park with his two well-behaved
dogs. They picked flowers, played with
the dogs, and had some wine.
They went to meet his folks at their brick mansion. His niece had her own Dallas style playhouse
in the backyard.
After the initial meeting of the family, Sean broke the news
to Emily that he still lives at home.
She seemed a little shocked. He
stole her away and showed her his messy room that he had hoped his mom had
picked up. He then broke it to her that
it was a joke! She felt so much better
and tried to act like she hadn’t changed her opinion about him when she thought
it really was his room!
Sean’s dad pulled Emily aside and told her that Sean really
likes Emily. Mom pulled Sean aside and
told him that she likes Emily.
They sealed the end of the “perfect day” with a kiss and she
drove off. Sean wanted another kiss so
he ran after the vehicle to get another kiss!
California with Chris
Harrison
They discussed the week:
Chris – His
family couldn’t have been nicer. He
ended the date by telling Emily he loves her.
Jef – She felt at
home. Jef read her the sweetest letter
she has ever gotten in her whole life.
Arie – There is
nobody else that she would have gotten in a car with. Chris called out that he was the first to say
he loves her.
Sean – Chris
could tell by the look on her face that it went really well. Chris called out that he is the one guy that
hasn’t told her that he loves her. But
she knows he cares about her because he ran after the vehicle to give her a
kiss!

Rose #1 – Arie

Rose #3 – Sean
Chris didn’t make the cut!
He was shocked! He asked for an
explanation and she didn’t have one for him.
He was pissed off!
Three remain and everyone is still on the board! Nice work everyone!
