Who will stay and who will go?

Emily shared her thoughts about the remaining guys:

Sean – Love at first sight!  He IS so many things that she wants in a husband.  He gives her butterflies in her heart.

Jef – He is his own person, who marches to his own drum.  She likes guys with a little bit of an edge – she thinks he has that and is sweet & kind too!  Her life with him would be filled with adventure.  He gets her in a way that no one else does.

Arie – She had an immediate connection with him.  He is thoughtful, sensitive, and attentive.  She started to cry when she was thinking about her life with Arie.  He would be her best friend and love her forever.

Date with Sean

The date started off with a helicopter ride with Sean who was wearing the deepest V-Neck shirt I have ever seen!  Emily took him to a private island to “hang out”.  The date started out with discussing Sean’s past relationship with a girl that he wasn’t really into.   After the relationship conversation it got even more awkward because it was very clear that Emily was trying to get him to tell her that he loves her.  Sean broke the ice by suggesting that they go snorkeling.

The date ended with a romantic dinner on the beach and Emily waiting for Sean to say he loves her.  Sean was convincing her that he is the right guy for her - he wrote a letter to Ricki (the handwriting looked a little feminine).  Emily was touched by the letter and got what she wanted – I HAVE FALLEN INLOVE WITH YOU!!!!  She then broke out the famous fantasy suite card.  Sean accepted the invitation.  After a tour of the room they took a dip in the hot tub for a little make out session.  The shocker of the night was that she ended the night without making it an overnight.  She had to maintain her innocent mother reputation.

Date with Jef

The date began with a sailboat ride.  They discussed the hometown date, Jef shared that his family approved of her.  He said that his parents want to meet her now that the siblings approve of her.  Jef told the camera that he wants to meet Ricky to see if they would work. – That might be one of the smartest things I have heard yet from the guys! 

After frolicking in the water they had a romantic dinner on the beach.  Jef started in with some really good questions – Where would you want to live?  Why do you think it hasn’t worked out with the previous guys that you have dated?  Do you think I’m a good fit for Ricky?  Emily said she pictured Jef as a part of their family while she was home in Charlotte recently.  With that thought, Emily broke out the fantasy suite card and Jef declined the invitation.  Emily was thankful that he responded that way, and asked if he would like to just “hang out” in the room to spend more time together.  Emily then told the camera that Jef had said exactly what she wanted him to say and that she was slightly disappointed that she wasn’t able to turn him down.  He turned her down! J

Date with Arie

They began the date on a catamaran.  While out, they spotted a couple of dolphins and went swimming with the dolphins.  Emily was afraid of the dolphins, but Arie protected her.  After the adventure they spent some time talking, drinking wine, and a little more kissing. 

The date ended with a romantic dinner – surprise, surprise!  Emily started in with the serious conversation.  Arie won Emily over with describing how he would develop a relationship with Ricki. 

Another bachelorette first!  Emily didn’t give Arie the fantasy suite card because she knew that she wouldn’t be able to maintain her innocent mother reputation. 

Conversation with Chris

The first question that Chris asked her was if she got clarity this week.  She said she didn’t!  She told Chris that she is worried because she see’s so much with each of the guys and is falling in love with each of them in different ways.  She told him that she isn’t ready to make a decision and wished that she had more time.  Chris informed her that each of the guys left her personal video messages to give their last plea.
