To kiss or not to kiss?

The show started with Juan Pablo saying goodbye to his daughter and parents so he could focus on himself.

Chris broke the news to the girls to let them know they would be meeting Juan Pablo in Soule, Korea and the girls screamed and jumped for joy!  When they got to Korea they were still freaking out about the new experience and culture.  They screamed like little girls again when they checked into the Hilton.  The thing that brought silence was the first date card.

Date #1 (Group Date) Chelsie, Cassandra, Elise, Danielle, Kat, and Nikki – Pop!

Juan Pablo met the girls for a little K-Pop dancing with group 2EN1!  Juan told the camera that the best way for a girl to win his heart is by dancing.  The girls started off showing off their moves to group 2EN1.  After some showing off and some embarrassment from others they started to learn a choreographed dance.  Kat was really impressed by herself because she is a trained dancer.  Nikki decided to be annoyed by Kat rather than take advantage of her tips.  After learning the choreography, 2EN1 informed the girls that they would be dancing onstage with them for their live performance.  Nikki’s anxiety came out.  She told the camera that she hopes she is performing for the South Korea school of the blind. lol

Juan Pablo was so excited after everyone put on their costumes for the show.  The girls had a blast performing at the mall.  Kat tried to steal the show with her impromptu moves.  Of course, she made the other girls jealous!

After dancing, they ended the night at a romantic garden for some one on one time.  Kat stole Juan Pablo away for some alone time.  Kat decided to use her one on one time to talk about her tragic story of having an alcoholic father.  While Kat was spending time with Juan Pablo, Nikki was talking trash behind her back.  Juan Pablo asked Cassandra to join him for some alone time.  She was so excited to leave the tense environment that Nikki had created.  During Elise’s alone time she implied that there were girls that weren’t there for Juan Pablo.  He told her that he is keeping his eyes open and he knows what is happening.  During his alone time with Nikki he called her out for acting strange during the group date.  She lied to him and told him that she had a great time on the group date.  Juan Pablo went in for the kill and asked her how she feels about Camila.  Naturally she said that she is up for the challenge.  After all of the one on one time Juan Pablo pulled Nikki aside and asked her if she would accept Rose #1.  She gladly accepted!

Date #2 (Alone Date) Sharleen - Are you my Soule mate?

The camera started off showing both of them getting ready for the date.  Juan Pablo in the shower!  Juan Pablo told the camera that he really likes Sharleen and she told the camera that she doesn’t know if she really likes Juan Pablo. 

Their date started off in a Korean market.  They walked around sampling various different foods and trying not to get totally grossed out.  After the market Juan Pablo took Sharleen to a traditional tea house.  They talked about how she got into opera signing, and how he appears “cheeky in a British way” to her.  She told the camera that Juan Pablo is more fun than she expected. 

On the way to their romantic dinner Juan Pablo asked Sharleen to sing.  She told the camera that she normally doesn’t sing to a guy on her first date.  She barely sang a verse for him and he was turned on, so he went in for their completely awkward kiss.  They moved on from their make-out session to dinner.  Over dinner they talked about living in different countries.  Sharleen told him she thinks he gets her.  Juan Pablo said he got her since she walked out of the limo.  From there he moved on by asking her how many kids she wants.  She turned the question onto Juan Pablo.  When he said he wants two to three more, she seemed a little uncomfortable.  After the conversation veered off for a bit Juan Pablo brought it right back to her.  She admitted that she has been so career focused that she hadn’t even given kids a thought.  She admitted to having dated someone in the past with a daughter and she had a hard time with it.  She barely finished her sentence and Juan Pablo handed her Rose #2.  They sealed the deal with another awkward kiss. 

Date #3 (Group Date) Renee, Clare, Andi, Kelly, Alli, and Lauren

The date began in front of a building that looked a little like an orphanage.  It ended up being a karaoke building.  The girls had a ton of fun signing to Korean music.

From karaoke they had lemonade, then took a group photo in a photo booth and next drove around in crazy looking swans boats on the water.  After running around they relaxed with a fish pedicure.  Renee obviously needed a pedicure because the fish attacked her feet!  Clare started moving in on Juan Pablo and making the other girls jealous. After long overdue Pedi’s they made a stop for octopus.  Clare made a big deal about eating it.  Kelly made the comment of the night!  She said to the camera  “What was the big deal?  Her piece of octopus was little, and I know she has swallowed things bigger than that!”

The date ended with a cocktail party outside at the Hilton.  Juan Pablo pulled Renee aside for some one on one time.  He asked her how she was doing.  He told the camera that he really wanted to kiss Renee but that he has decided that he isn’t going to kiss any more girls because he has already kissed six girls.  He doesn’t want Camila seeing him kiss so many girls.  While the girls were waiting for time with Juan Pablo they talked about how they hadn’t kissed him.  During Andi’s one on one time, Juan told the camera that he wanted to kiss her but he made a promise to himself so he was holding back.  During Lauren’s one on one time she asked for a kiss and she was denied!  That set Lauren over the edge!  The other girls were watching from afar and speculating what was happening.  She was convinced that she blew it with her request for a kiss.  Clare attacked the kissing challenge with confidence.  Juan Pablo shocked her by telling her that he liked her thoughts on holding back on kissing that she mentioned on their last date.  She won the challenge…Juan Pablo couldn’t resist her lips! However, Rose #3 was given to Andi!  Clare was shocked that her lips didn’t win him over!

Cocktail Party:

The cocktail party took place in a Korean Palace.  The night started with Juan Pablo stealing Kelly away.  The girls made an agreement that if they had a rose they wouldn’t steal time with Juan Pablo from the other girls.  During Clare’s alone time Nikki (who has a rose) decided to interrupt her conversation.  Clare was pissed off!  Juan Pablo mentioned to Nikki that he likes his time with her and understands that there is probably drama in the house.  Nikki immediately got paranoid and assumed the Clare had talked to him about girl drama during her time with him.  Wrong!

Lauren and Elise were sent home crying!

Juan Pablo announced to the girls that the next stop would be Vietnam!  Looks like Clare takes things too far next week.

That is a High Five!

Date #1 (Alone Date) Cassandra – Love is a wild ride

Before the date Cassandra was talking to the girls saying that this date will help her to make the decision on if she should stay or go home.  Obviously that is the point of the one on one date!.  Juan Pablo gives you a rose and you stay.  No rose you go home!

The date started with Juan Pablo taking her in a strange looking jeep to a beach.  He drove onto the beach and then into the water.  The strange jeep became a boat!  They had a ton of fun driving around on the water while people looked on wondering what was up with that strange boat!  They drove the water car up to a yacht for a fun afternoon of swimming and kissing.

Back at the mansion the girls were speculating whether or not Cassandra would go home after their date.

  

The date ended with dinner at Juan Pablo’s house.  Of course Juan wanted to relax her by showing her how to dance.  They had dessert outside by the fire pit, and had a bit of communication issues when talking about a malted milk ball.  After dessert, they shared pictures of their kids and talked about going through the Bachelor process as parents.  Obviously Juan likes her because he gave her Rose #1.  He is really attracted to this girl!

Date #2 (Group Date) Kelly, Renee, Sharleen, Danielle, Alli, Lauren, Christy, Lucy, Nikki, Andi – Let’s kick it!

A soccer date!!!  The girls met Juan Pablo at the field and found him playing with the LA Galaxy team.  The girls were totally turned on!  He greeted the girls with a sweaty hug…not one of them cared!  He filled them in on the rules of the game – have a good time and go with the flow!  Some of the girls were panicked because they aren’t athletic.  He started them off with some drills to assess their skills and to see their frustrations.   

Back at the mansion the girls were talking about who would get the next alone date.  The trash talking behind each other’s backs has begun!

Back to the field the girls were divided into teams and suited up to play a game.  The blue team scored first and motivated Nikki to play harder.  She ended up injuring Sharleen…along with a few other girls.  Juan was impressed because Sharleen kept playing after getting hit by the ball multiple times.  The blue team was losing badly, so Juan Pablo decided to help them out a bit.  Even Juan took Sharleen down! Lol 

After the game they got dressed up for a cocktail party at the stadium.  Nikki got the first one on one time and asked about Juan Pablo’s biggest fear coming into the Bachelor.  She told him her biggest fear is getting hurt.  With that she got the reassurance that she needed.  During Andi’s time she talked about how things got serious for her during the soccer game.  They had a little make-out session.  During Sharleen’s one on one time they went out the middle of the field (where the girls could see them), sat on a blanket and shared a really strange looking kiss.  Obviously it was strange because Sharleen asked for a retake.  Andi was irritated because she just had a make-out session and didn’t feel special anymore.  The special girl to get Rose #2 was Nikki!  She was shocked and surprised!  Both Sharleen and Andi were pissed off!

Date #3 (Alone Date) Chelsie –Do you trust me?

Juan Pablo picked her up and played some Spanish music in the car to make her feel comfortable.  He took her to old town Pasadena to a Venezuelan restaurant for lunch.  After lunch he took her for a walk to a bridge.  She started to speculate that they might be jumping off of the bridge.  She was correct, he had a tandem ankle bungee jump planned for the two of them.  After looking down, even Juan Pablo was scared!  Chelsie broke down and told him she didn’t know if she could do it.  He comforted her and talked her into jumping.  Her reward was a kiss while hanging upside down from the bridge. 

The date ended with a romantic dinner outside of City Hall.  They talked about their fears and goals. 

Back at the mansion Elise continued to complain about Chelsie going on a one on one date.  She talked about her being too young to raise a little girl.  She was put in her place when she found out that Chelsie is only a couple years younger than her!

Back to City Hall…  Chelsie told the camera that she thinks she will be getting the rose.  She was right because she received Rose #3!  All of a sudden they heard music and Billy Currington was there to give them a private concert.  Juan Pablo told the camera that Chelsie is wife material!

Cocktail Party Day Breakfast:

Juan Pablo surprised the ladies on the Cocktail Party day by making them breakfast.  He wanted to see the ladies in the morning without makeup.  First to be surprised was Kelly, she was not impressed!  She didn’t even greet him!  After walking the dog, she went back upstairs to pull herself together.  Renee was the first to greet him as she is in the morning.  After breakfast Juan Pablo asks the girls if they wouldn’t mind cancelling the cocktail party and having a pool party instead.  Another opportunity to see Juan Pablo with his shirt off!  Of course they didn’t mind!

The pool party created a lot of drama!  The girls were jealous of Kat getting attention from Juan Pablo.  Sharleen’s insecurities came out and she started to question whether she is the right type of person for Juan Pablo.  She got some alone time with him and told him that she has a hard time seeing past the cameras and being herself.  Then the tears came out!  After he dried her tears she decided to go in for a kiss.  He stopped her because the other girls were watching them.  Or was it because of the awkward kiss on the soccer field???  The second girl to shed tears was Clare.  She managed to get some alone time and shared her concerns with Juan Pablo.  He reassured her that everything is good between the two of them.  The pool party was stopped by Chris Harrison so everyone could get ready for the Rose Ceremony.

Date #1 (Alone Date) Clare – Let’s Chill

Juan Pablo blindfolded Clare to begin her date.  He took her to a California Winter Wonderland.  They went sledding, had a snowball fight and went ice-skating.  Of course the Winter Wonderland had a hot tub!  They talked about what they are looking for in a partner while in the hot tub.  Juan Pablo asked Clare about the necklace that she wears all of the time.  The necklace is a reminder that it is good to open up and feel even after her dad has passed.  With that, she received Rose #1.  Juan Pablo told the cameras that both he and Clare have high standards and that attracts him to her.

The date ended with a private concert by a guy from the X Factor.  They danced and kissed in their bathing suits in the snow.

Date #2 (Alone Date) Kat – I can feel the electricity

Juan Pablo started the date off by taking Kat on a private jet.  To give her a clue as to where they were headed they got dressed up in neon clothes with glowing lights.  Once they landed they arrived at the Salt Lake City Electric Run and were the starters for the 5K race. They danced in their neon gear through the course. 

After they finished the race, they ended up onstage with the DJ for a dance performance.  In typical Bachelor fashion, a rose was waiting on the stage.  Lucky for Kat she got Rose #2!

Date #3 (Group Date) Chelsie, Christy, Kelly, Cassandra, Andi, Renee, Lauren, Alli, Chantel, Nikki, Elise, Victoria & Lucy – Say Cheese

The girls met Juan Pablo downtown for a photo shoot.  The girls were told they would be paired up with a Juan Pablo and a partner for the photo.  Little did they know it would be a furry partner!  They found out they were going to be working with Models and Mutts to take photos with a dog in hopes that the dog would get adopted.  Each photo shoot had a theme that matched the dog they picked.  Most of the girls got dressed up in crazy costumes to match their dogs theme.  Elise was given two cardboard signs for her wardrobe.  As if that wasn’t bad enough, Andi received her costume, which consisted of one small cardboard sign.  Andi had a breakdown.  Elise decided to talk to the art director about being uncomfortable.  He didn’t do anything for her.  Elise got creative and asked Naked Lucy if she would switch costumes with her.  Lucy was totally fine with the switch and celebrated by walking down the street naked. 

Juan Pablo found Andi breaking down in a corner and shared with her that he was also going to be naked in the photo with her.  All of a sudden she changed her opinion on having a sign for her wardrobe.    

The last stop of the date was at a rooftop pool location in L.A.  The first to get one on one time was Cassandra.  She broke the news to Juan Pablo that she calls her mom 10 times a day, and then slipped in that she has a son.  Juan Pablo was surprised, but happy to hear that she has a son.  Renee was the second person to get alone time.  They spent their time hugging and talking about their kids.  Victoria got drunk, Nikki tried to tell her to cool it on the alcohol, but the drunk girl didn’t listen.  Juan Pablo swept Nikki off her feet and carried her a private spot for one on one time.  He seemed really into Nikki.  Meanwhile drunk girl was busy making a fool of herself.  She made the mistake of almost interrupting Nikki’s one on one time, and then walked away.  She ended up in a bathroom stall crying about not getting one on one time.  Renee crawled under the stall door to comfort the crazy drunk.  Victoria decided to make a scene and go home.  Long story short, she threw a drunken fit and then locked herself in the bathroom stall again.  Leave it to Lucy to tell Juan Pablo that Victoria was having a break down.  He went to the bathroom to try to talk to her.  Since he wasn’t able to talk to drunk girl, he decided to hand out Rose #3 to Kelly. 

The Next Day At The Mansion

The girls were recapping the night.  While they were recapping the night, the cameras flashed to Juan Pablo going to Victoria’s hotel room to talk to her about her episode.  Victoria discussed how embarrassed she was by her behavior and apologized.  Juan Pablo then told her goodbye and essentially said that she wasn’t a good fit for him and his daughter.

Cocktail Party

Juan Pablo asked Amy for one on one time.  Amy decided to literally interview him during her one on one time.  He played along and was impressed with her skills.  He then moved onto Sharleen.  She started with an apology for the way that she responded when he gave her the first impression rose.  Cassandra broke down because she was missing her son and shared her feelings with Renee.  Juan Pablo found the two of them and asked to talk to Cassandra.  He told her that because he knows that she has a kid, if he doesn’t see anything with her that he will tell her right away.
