Stepping, Skipping, Jogging, Running

The final 5 go to Madeira Island.  Three one on one dates, and a two on one date with only a rose – no one goes home!

The show started with Desiree telling the camera that she brought some of her girlfriends with her to give her advice on the men. Sean’s former girlfriend’s…they were all Bachelorette’s from Sean’s season.  Including Catherine!!  The first question that Des asked Catherine was “How are you and Sean doing?” – weird?!?

What she told the girls about the guys:

Chris = supportive
Brooks = positive
Michael = genuine
Zak = adventurous
Drew = the sweetest person you will ever meet!

Best Kisser = Drew
Most Successful = Michael
Most Athletic = Chris
Best Body = Drew
Most Adventurous = Zak
Biggest _____= Chris

Date #1 (Alone Date) Brooks
Des picked Brooks up in a little convertible car so they could go on a road trip – it looked like a scene from Just Married.  She drove up a mountain and through the clouds for a picnic.  They discussed how easy it is for them to get along and to date and spent a lot of time kissing in the clouds.

After their date in the clouds they had a romantic dinner overlooking the city.  Brooks pulled out his bag of tricks and told Des that his family gets attached to girlfriends that he brings home.  She told him that she wants to make sure that he wants her to meet his family.  He asked her about the adjectives between like and love – stepping, skipping, jogging, running and the finish line.  She told him that she is “going into a run”.  He told the camera that he likes where she is at (running), but that he is a little behind on his emotional process.  Des asked him if he wants her to meet his family and he responded with “yes.”  Des told the camera that she could definitely see him as the one.

Date #2 (Alone Date) Chris – Let’s sea if we can find love here
Desiree took Chris to a yacht for their date.  The yacht pulled up to a deserted island for them to have a picnic.  Chris brought a bottle for them to write a poem together to send off in the sea.  – Good thing his date was at the sea.  She was impressed with his poem planning!

The romantic dinner took place at a winery.  Chris told the camera that he is planning on telling Des that he loves her over dinner.  She started off the date by making a toast to him and how wonderful he is.  They talked about meeting his family and whom she would meet.  Chris got really nervous as he was preparing to tell her that he loves her.  Of course he wrote a poem about it!!!!  She completely fell for it!  If there were a rose, he would have gotten it!

Date #3 (Alone Date) Michael – Let’s have fun
Their date started off with a walk through the town.  They ate, drank, shopped, and then stopped for some wine.  I’m not seeing a connection…

The romantic dinner took place in a secluded area of the city.  Michael told Desiree how much fun he had on the date and she didn’t say anything but thanks!  They talked about his family and how his father wasn’t present in his life.  Michael did a ton of talking and Des tried to look like she was interested.  For those who watched…I couldn’t help but think – It’s not over until the fat lady sings! lol

Date #4 (Two on One Date) Drew & Zak – I’m looking for a man that can make my heart race
Desiree took the guys Go Kart racing.  Desiree challenged the guys to race against each other to get a prize.  Zak kicked butt and won the prize of getting alone time first.  Meanwhile Drew sipped wine and looked at the rose.  Zak used his alone time wisely by journaling their experience through drawings.  Zak told the camera that he really wanted to tell Des that he loves her, but he held back because he respects Drew and doesn’t want her thinking about him saying “I love you” on the double date.  Drew came close to saying the words, but decided to tell her that he is falling in love with her instead of going for the Full Monty.   Rose #1 handed out to Drew.  Zak shouldn’t have held back!

Chat with Chris:
Desiree told Chris that it has been one of the best weeks that she has had because the relationships are growing.  They talked about the guys.  Chris told her that she giggles and smiles when she talks about Brooks.  She told Chris about the adjectives that she uses to describe love.  She shared that she told Brooks she was starting to run when describing love with him but she told Chris that she is at the Finish Line.  She started crying.  Chris asked her if Brooks told her that he loves her – he did not.  Chris asked her if the search is over.  She said no, that she is keeping an open mind and that she is falling in love with the other Chris.

Rose Ceremony:

Rose #2 - Brooks
Rose #3 - Chris
Rose #4 - Zak

Surprise, surprise...Michael went home!  Desiree walked him out to tell him that she felt their relationship was growing differently.  He said that he is heartbroken but thinks the world of her.  Blah, blah, blah...  It's a good thing she let him go now because he called him mom on the limo ride to the airport.  Seriously?

Next week is my favorite week!!!  Hometown dates!!!!!
