A Real Moment!

Hometown Date #1 Milwaukee, WI – Nick

Before meeting the family Nick and Andi met up at a local farmers market.  After the market they went to a local brewery, drank beers and danced the polka.  After a few beers at the brewery they headed to meet Nick’s BIG family! 

One of Nick’s sisters pulled him aside to talk about how he feels about Andi.  He admitted to being in love with her.  She seemed to think that Andi is a good fit for Nick.  After the sister talked to Nick she talked to Andi to make sure that she wasn’t planning on hurting him. 

Nick’s little sister (roughly 10yrs old), Bella, grilled Andi.  It was super cute!  She had a list of questions that she asked Andi.  Andi passed the ‘Bella’ test! 

When Nick talked about Andi to his mother a tear ran down his face.  He told his mom that he is waiting for the right moment to tell Andi that he loves her. 

Hometown Date #2 Arlington, IA – Chris

Andi met Chris at his farm.  He gave her a tour of his farm and country home.  He took her for a ride on his tractor and then showed her how to drive the tractor.  They stopped for a picnic in the middle of one of his crops to discuss what life would be like as a farmer’s wife.  In the middle of their picnic a crop duster flew by with a sign that read ‘Chris Loves Andi!’.  Andi was blown away by the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for her. 

After a day on the farm they went to Chris’ house for dinner.  His sisters talked to Andi and told her his secrets and how successful he is as a farmer.  Chris talked to his mom about how Andi would fit in on the farm.  Chris’ mom tried to talk Andi into being a farmer’s wife.

Hometown Date #3 Tampa, FL – Josh

As expected Josh took Andi to play baseball.  Andi showed off her baseball skills by breaking the bat!  Josh talked about his struggle with professional baseball and then moved onto his brother’s professional football career.  Andi could already tell that there seemed to be a lot of focus on his brother and the start of his professional football career. 

They meet up at Josh’s parents house.  Josh got choked up after saying hello to all of his family and his dog.  The first topic of conversation at the dinner table was about Aaron’s (his brother) football career.  Andi got some one on one time with Josh’s mother and she told Andi that he is in love with her.  After spending time with his mom, Andi realized how involved the family is with Aaron’s career.  They made it very clear that they would spend Sunday’s watching his brother’s football games.  During Andi’s time with Josh’s sister she told Andi that they would probably have fights about spending time with each other’s family and compromising. 

Hometown Date #4 Dallas, TX – Marcus

Marcus picked Andi up in his Mercedes and gave her a tour of the city.  After the tour, Marcus took Andi to a club and reenacted their first date by giving her a private striptease.  The final stop was to meet Marcus’ family.  Andi told the camera that she was most nervous about meeting Marcus’ family over anyone else’s.   

During Andi’s time with Marcus’ sister she talked about how quick Marcus is to opening up.  Andi told her that she was concerned about catching up with Marcus in the feelings department.  Marcus’ brother gave his approval.  Marcus had a moment with his brother when he told him how much it meant to him that he stepped up as a father figure after their dad abandoned them.  Marcus’s mom was surprised at how open he had been with Andi.  Marcus said it – “I love you, I truly do!”

Chris Harrison’s Home

Andi and the guys all met up at Chris Harrison’s home.  The guys were clueless as to why they were getting together.  Chris broke the news to all of them that Eric Hill had passed away.  Marcus walked out of the room and Andi got up to follow him and talk about the situation.  The other guys sat on the couch looking confused.  Andi brought Marcus back to the guys saying they all needed to go through the situation together.  The camera crew dropped the camera and all of the producers and camera crew comforted the guys and Andi.  It was probably the most real moment that I have witnessed in Bachelor/Bachelorette history! 

Conversation with Chris prior to the Rose Ceremony

Andi admitted to having a hard time with all of the stress of being the Bachelorette and hearing the Eric news.  With the news of Eric, Andi admitted that it makes her decision more difficult.

Marcus was sent home crying!  Andi walked him out and tried to explain to him that he did nothing wrong.  She just wasn’t feeling the love that he was feeling and couldn’t keep him as a result.  In the car ride home, Marcus said he should have told her that he loves her. 

We took a Huge hit on the board this week!!!
