Emily is so happy to be in Charlotte with her support system
– mom, mother in-law, and friends
Date #1 (Alone Date)
– Ryan “Be my kind in the city”
Ryan wasn’t surprised to get the date card – Really? After the date card is out, the jealousy
settles into the house! The date begins
with Emily meeting Ryan at the house.
Ryan gets excited thinking about how exotic the date will be and she
ends up bringing him to her house. Wow –
on the first date? She tells him he is
going to help her bring in the groceries.
Then informs him that she is snack mom for Ricky’s soccer game so they are
going to bake chocolate chip cookies.
The real question is does she normally bake or did she just torture him
to prove a point? After baking the
cookies they drop off the snacks, she doesn’t expose Ricky to this Bachelor! J
The date continues with a fun night out in Charlotte where
they get mobbed by the town on their way into one of her favorite restaurants. Emily doesn’t mess around and begins to drill
Ryan about his ex-girlfriend, and asks what happens after “the chase”? Emily is so impressed with Ryan being
accepting of the boring date so she gives him Rose #1.
They end the night with a concert surrounded by the town
paparazzi while they dance.
Date #2 (Group Date) - Alejandro, Nate, Alessandro, Tony, Michael,
John, Jef, Charlie, Kyle, Chris, Aaron, Stevie, Kalon “Let’s set the stage for
Love”
Emily informs the boys that the date will consist of
performances – singing, dancing, and other cool stuff. To add a little more pressure she informs
them that they are raising money for charity.
Then she reveals Kermit & Miss. Piggy!!!
As they boys are getting instructions on their roles,
Charlie starts to lose it because he has fears with speaking due to a major
accident that he had. He decides to
approach Emily and informs her of his speech problem and tells her that he
isn’t ready to do a comedy skit. She is
quick to offer him up a singing part to ‘Rainbow Connection’ and he jumps on
the opportunity!
The boys debut their performances to a packed house! Ricky attended the show, and appeared to
enjoy the show. Emily was impressed by
everyone’s performances. At the end of
the Muppets performances Emily brings Ricky up to the stage to sing with the Muppets. For some of the boys it was their first time
seeing Ricky.
After the Muppets performance the boys get a little nightcap
with Emily. Emily gushes over Chris,
asks Jef if he speaks English and tells him she feels awkward around him,
practices dancing at the prom with Stevie, and chats with “chopper” for a brief
moment before getting interrupted by Aaron.
After she has had enough she gives Rose #2 to Jef.
Date #3 (Alone Date)
Joe – “Come close to my heart”
The date begins with a limo picking Joe up from the mansion
to then take him to the airport. They
take a private plane to one of her favorite places in West Virginia. The Greenbrier! They begin their adventure with a dip in the
pool.
In another pool at the Charlotte mansion the fathers are
schooling the single guys on what it is like to be a father.
Back to Emily – They end the date with a formal dinner. The camera flashes to Emily and she goes on
about her favorites….too bad she didn’t mention Joe! At dinner Emily asks Joe where he sees
himself in 5 years and he struggles to answer her question. After all else fails she tries out the “love
clock” with Joe. A tradition where they
write a wish and share it with each other – apparently the clock wish didn’t
work as she sent him home after making the wish. She really struggled with sending him home; not
for long! She will be an expert
soon! As the limo pulls off fireworks go
off…poor Joe!
Cocktail Party
Arie gets some alone time with Emily and shares with her
that he has experience dating women with kids.
Ryan gives Emily a scroll with his feelings; she reads it out loud while
Tony listens. Tony gets his time with
Emily…7 pages later! Tony tells Emily
that he has a 5-year-old son to try to save himself. Kalon tells Emily what makes a girl worthy of
dating him.
